Chassis
All of Sunland Caravans chassis use reinforced steel and are hot dipped galvanised.

HEIGHTS
An overall exact height, which includes all caravans is difficult to determine, but an average height of 2780 mm is a good average for vans on 4” risers and 15” wheels. Heights are influenced by weight (see included table)
Measurements were taken from the ground to the top of the riser and roof line, central of the two wheels .
Roof accessories are not included.

With 2” riser add 50 mm
With4" riser add 100 mm
With 16” wheels add approximately 12 mm
With Dometic air-conditioner add a height of 245 mm
With Carrier air-conditioner add a height of 380 or 390 mm. (Packing below aircon. may vary)
WEIGHTS
Tare weights can vary from caravan to caravan so every Caravan we build is taken over the weigh bridge and complianced accordingly.
ATM weights can be requested by the customer to suit individual needs but the minimum will always be 400 kilos from a tandem axle or 300 kilos for a single axle. but the normal range is between 600 and 800kilos on average and can be as high as 1000kilos or more.
